What your immune system is actually doing.
Aethera Immunology Lab is for people with a specific, repeating immune problem that nobody has worked up properly. Four sinus infections a year.
What this division is for
Recurrent UTIs. Hives for eight months. A positive ANA that was never explained.
Allergy symptoms that antihistamines no longer touch. Eighteen months of fatigue since a virus. We do the clinical immunology workup, interpret it, treat what is treatable, and name the specialist when you need one.
We also do the protective work almost nobody sells: vaccine antibody titers, catch-up immunization, and the full screening panel you need before starting a biologic. We are cash-pay. Online in all 50 states, concierge visits in every state except Massachusetts and New York, with clinics in development in Nashville, Miami and Madison.
We do not sell immune boosting. No supplement, peptide, IV drip or cell therapy on this site claims to make a healthy immune system stronger, because no randomized trial supports that claim and the FTC has spent two decades enforcing against it. What we sell is measurement, diagnosis, lawful treatment, and an honest account of where the evidence stops.
What is different here
- We publish the tests we refuse to order, and why. IgG food panels, zonulin, 'leaky gut' arrays, Cyrex and Vibrant predictive autoantibody screens, and NK cell activity as a wellness screen are all named on the site as things we will not sell you.
- Every service on the menu carries its evidence level and says whether FDA has approved the product for that specific use. Custom sublingual drops are labelled 'not FDA-approved for this route' on every page they appear on.
- No immune boosting anywhere on the site. The immune-age panel is sold as a measurement with no treatment attached, because no trial has shown that moving the score changes an outcome.
- Pre-biologic and pre-immunosuppression screening as a named, priced, two-week service. Patients stuck waiting on screening before their rheumatologist will prescribe can get it done here.
- Vaccine antibody titers and catch-up immunization for the people who actually need them: pre-biologic patients, immunosuppressed adults, healthcare workers, nursing and medical students, and adults with no childhood records.
- Post-viral and POTS care at roughly a quarter of what the leading virtual post-viral clinic charges, with no cure claim attached.
The menu
Every item is marked with where the evidence actually sits and how it is delivered. 19 services.
Clinical Immunology Consultation and Second Opinion
A physician or nurse practitioner visit focused on one immune problem: recurrent infection, allergy, chronic hives, abnormal autoimmune labs, or post-viral illness. We take the history, choose the testing, interpret it, treat what we can treat, and name the specialist when you need one. Includes referral coordination, including for immunoglobulin replacement, which we do not provide ourselves.
Who it is for. Adults with a specific repeating immune complaint, or with a stack of prior results nobody has explained. Also anyone wanting a second read on an immune or autoimmune diagnosis.
$225-$400 initial, $125-$200 follow-up; concierge adds a $75-$150 trav
Usually HSA/FSA eligible
Core Immune Function Panel
The first-line screen for antibody deficiency and lymphocyte abnormality: CBC with differential, quantitative IgG, IgA, IgM and IgE, IgG subclasses 1 through 4, and lymphocyte subsets (CD3, CD4, CD8, CD19, CD16+56).
Who it is for. Adults with four or more sinopulmonary infections a year, two or more pneumonias, infections requiring IV antibiotics, infections with unusual organisms, or a family history of immunodeficiency.

Usually HSA/FSA eligible
Vaccine Antibody Titers and Vaccine Response Testing
Measurement of existing antibody levels to measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, tetanus, diphtheria and pneumococcus. Where immune function is in question, we also run a formal vaccine response test: baseline pneumococcal titers, vaccinate, then repeat at four to six weeks to see whether you mounted a response.
Who it is for. People who need documented immunity: pre-biologic patients, healthcare workers, nursing and medical students, adults with no childhood records, immigration applicants. Plus anyone being worked up for antibody deficiency, where response testing is the key functional measure.
$45-$75 per individual titer; $180-$320 for a five-titer bundle; $280-
Usually HSA/FSA eligible
Complement and Advanced Immunodeficiency Testing
Second-tier testing when the core panel is inconclusive or the infection pattern points somewhere specific: C3, C4, CH50 and AH50 for recurrent neisserial infection or angioedema, C1 inhibitor level and function for hereditary angioedema, and - in narrowly defined cases only - an NK cell function assay as a specialty send-out.
Who it is for. Adults with recurrent meningococcal or gonococcal infection, recurrent unexplained angioedema without urticaria, severe or recurrent herpesvirus infection, or an abnormal core panel needing confirmation.
Complement panel $150-$500; C1 inhibitor level and function $200-$400.
Usually HSA/FSA eligible
Allergy Testing - Specific IgE and Skin Prick
History-guided testing for the allergens your symptoms actually implicate. Serum specific IgE for regional aeroallergens, with component-resolved testing for foods where it changes management. Skin prick testing in clinic when available, which is faster and often more sensitive for aeroallergens.
Who it is for. Adults with seasonal or perennial nasal and eye symptoms, allergic asthma, or a clear history of reaction to a specific food, drug or insect sting.
Serum specific IgE, regional aeroallergen set: $150-$350. Component-re

A custom sublingual drop formulation mixed from licensed allergen extracts to match your own test results, shipped to you, taken daily, with escalating dose and quarterly clinician review. A three-to-five year course.

$89-$129 per month, or $1,000-$1,500 for the year. Basis: Wyndly at $9
Usually HSA/FSA eligible
Subcutaneous Immunotherapy (Allergy Shots)
Conventional allergy shots: a licensed allergen extract injected on a build-up then maintenance schedule, with 30 minutes of observation after every injection. On-label use of the extract, and the immunotherapy route with the deepest evidence base.
Who it is for. People with moderate to severe allergic rhinitis or allergic asthma who want the best-evidenced option and can attend in person, and anyone needing venom immunotherapy.
$1,200-$2,500 per year cash for extract plus injection visits, varying

Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria Program
Guideline-sequenced management of hives lasting more than six weeks: second-generation antihistamine, then up-dosing above the label dose, then adding an H2 blocker or leukotriene antagonist, then referral and documentation for an approved biologic. Who it is for. Adults with daily or near-daily hives for six weeks or longer, with or without angioedema, who have not responded to a standard over-the-counter antihistamine dose.

Recurrent Urinary Tract Infection Program

Recurrent Sinus, Respiratory and Viral Infection Program
Workup and management for people stuck in a cycle of sinus infections, bronchitis, pneumonia, cold sores or shingles. How you are seen
Residents of every U.S. state and the District of Columbia can join the online clinic. A specific test or treatment can still have its own state limits, and we show any limit that applies in your state before you pay for it.
Concierge visits are available in 48 states. We do not offer concierge care in Massachusetts or New York. The online clinic is open in both.
No Aethera clinic is open yet. Three are in development in Nashville, Miami and Madison, Wisconsin, and a fourth is planned for Bogotá in early 2027. We will say so plainly here the day one opens, and not before.
We are cash-pay. We do not bill insurance, and no federal healthcare program money is involved in anything we do. Many of our services can be paid for with an HSA or FSA card, and some cannot. Eligibility is set by IRS rules and decided by your plan administrator, not by us. Cosmetic treatments are specifically excluded. We mark each service with what we understand its status to be, we give you an itemised receipt with the codes your administrator needs, and we will write a Letter of Medical Necessity where one genuinely applies.
Nothing on this site is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a promise of a result. Talk to a licensed clinician about your own situation before starting anything.
